PFC Lee Padilla, 38014649, (KIA) served with Company A, 306 Medical Battalion
PFC Padilla was killed in action on October 21, 1944, on Five Brothers Ridge, Peleliu. He is currently resting in the Manila American Cemetery. He is one of two members of the 306th Medical Battalion to be killed in combat during WWII.

Pvt Wilber L. Johnson, 13036772 (KIA), served with Company B, 306th Medical Battalion
PVT Johnson, a litter bearer, assisted in evacuating numerous casualties over challenging terrain (Bloody Gulch, Angaur Island). Repeatedly, he traversed this area under enemy machine guns and mortar fire to administer and evacuate the wounded. While engaged in the evacuation of a casualty, he was mortally wounded by machine gun fire on 23 September 1944. He died of his wounds later that day. He was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action and the Purple Heart for wounds received in action.

PVT Jesse W. Bales, 39734499
PVT Bales served with Company B, 306th Medical Battalion. He died non-battle on 7 August 1945. He died as a result of a swimming accident in
which he fractured his cervical spine with transection of the cord
caused by diving.

T/5 Burtler served in Company C, 306th Medical Battalion.

PFC Robert E. Mosier, 35765123
PFC Mosier served as a surgical technician in the 306th Medical Battalion. He served from 13 July 1943 to 24 January 1946.

PFC Bowen served in Company D, 306th Medical Battalion. He entered the Army on 1 April 1943. He was discharged 4 February 1946.
